The Philippine Madrigal Singer (in MADZ ABOUT LOVE) this February 2010.

The Philippine Madrigal Singers will have its Valentine Concert dubbed MADZ ABOUT LOVE on Feburary 13, 2010 at the Meralco Theater, 730pm.

This project is a fund-raising Concert featuring the love songs of Philippine Madrigal Singers, also known as the Madz, one of the most awarded choirs in Asia and in the World. The creative people of Lomomanila will also have an art exhibit before the show.

The event aims to raise funds for the undertakings of the Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI) such as study centers which supplement the university instruction of students & the career development of young professionals all over the country through activities which incorporate formation on human values like leadership and industry. This project will also raise funds for Project: Brave Kids’ Social and Family Life Support Program.

This project has multiple objectives:

to capitalize on the potentials of culture as a medium for progress
to strengthen the image of the Philippine Culture Industry especially among the youth
to support two NGOs - the Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI) which promotes the professional, cultural, personal and spiritual development of high school girls, university students and young professional women , and Project: Brave Kids which resourcefully assists children with cancer and their families.
